Enjoy Every Sip!

Jesus answered her, “If you knew the gift of God, and who it is that is saying to you, ‘Give me a drink,’ you would have asked him, and he would have given you living water.” John 4:10

I wonder how often we truly pause, and take inventory of how good life really is?

We serve a Master who promises “Living Water” to all who ask. If you know the story of the Samaritan woman at the well that we read about in John chapter 4, you would realize that the “Living Water” that Jesus gives is never ending.

Yes, life can be challenging for sure, but God is faithful in every circumstance. His water quenches thirst in seasons of want and in seasons of plenty. Every season, every climate, and even in every climate change! God is faithful!

Have you taken time lately to “Take a Sip”? Sometimes life moves so fast that we forget to pause and “Take a Sip”. There is an eternal fountain that reaches everyone who believes!

After purchasing a Diet Coke at a McDonald’s the other day, God spoke to me through a McDonald’s inscription on a lid. (Believe it or not!)

God said…the Lid said…and then I said…”Take a Sip!”

I decided to learn to slow down, to enjoy the gifts that “Living Water” provides. The water that Jesus gives is plentiful, refreshing, and available to all who learn to “Take a Sip”!

In John 4:19, after pausing to talk to Jesus, The woman said to him, “Sir, I perceive that you are a prophet”. It is my prayer today that you learn to perceive and partake of this “Living Water”.

Excuse me…while I “Take a Sip”.  J

But whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never be thirsty again. The water that I will give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life.”

John 4:14
