“Thanksgiving Blessings
In Every Season”
I will praise the name of God with a song;
I will magnify him with thanksgiving. Psalm 69:30
I will magnify him with thanksgiving. Psalm 69:30
The day we know as
“Thanksgiving” is just a mere few days away! Thanksgiving quickly brings
reminders of blessings, good food, family, and friends. What a great day Thanksgiving
Day is!
When you think
about it from a Christian perspective, isn’t every day Thanksgiving Day?
There is never a
day that is not a good day to give Thanks.
If we lived for 1,000 years (which we will in eternity!) we would never run out
of things to be thankful for. God is so good and worthy to be praised!
I noticed some
engaging elements tucked inside this verse in Psalm 69:30.
Here are my
reflections:
A.) I can, I should,
and I will praise the name of God!
B.) He makes me sing!
C.) I will magnify Him with all that I have!
D.) It’s all about Thanksgiving!
I
read this verse, and then the most amazing thing happened…
My
eyes drifted over to the next verse and immediately following in verse 31 it
says…
“This will please the Lord”!
That
makes me happy and evidently makes God happy as well!
I will praise the name of God with a song;
I will magnify him with thanksgiving.
This will please the Lord… Psalm 69:30-31
I will magnify him with thanksgiving.
This will please the Lord… Psalm 69:30-31
Here
I go again…
A.) I can, I should,
and I will praise the name of God!
B.) He makes me sing!
C.) I will magnify Him with all that I have!
D.) It’s all about Thanksgiving!
Happy
Thanksgiving from our house to yours!
